The brief was to design and develop an online application to test non-native English speakers on their knowledge of business jargon.
We built both a standalone HTML5 presentation and Facebook tab app that presented users with 10 questions accompanied by multiple choice answers. The results were then published in the form of a fun infographic comparing their score to others in the industry, country and similar sized companies. The user could then share their results on social media platforms and challenge other users.
The quiz saw an immediate uptake by users of the standalone presentation by advertising online and through email marketing. We then developed the Facebook app as secondary development to let other users who visited the EF Facebook page to take part.
The app featured dynamic maps and infographics to display their results. An e-certificate for the users to print and save plus all user stats were plugged into a Marketo solution so that internally the client could see the uptake and results.
Built using HTML, PHP and CSS with a MySQL database.
"We have recently started working with Kaye and Drum and we have been very impressed with them so far. They are extremely responsive and flexible and really add value to the projects they work on. In particular, they were very good at transforming a brief into a live design that really captured what we had in mind. I would certainly recommend them."
