Drum where approached by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to scope, design and build a native mobile application to go on Google Play and Itunes App stores to educate tennis players and officials about anti-doping rules and regulations.
The ITF app needed to give players and officials quick, efficient and easy access to clear information on the ever changing rules and regulations around anti-doping within tennis.
The app supplements the existing information and education materials produced on behalf of the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme (TADP), including the ITF anti-doping website, wallet card, the TADP rules, and the 24-hour email helpline.
The app allows users access to an extensive FAQ on Anti-Doping, the TADP (Tennis Anti Doping Programme rules 2017), list of prohibited substances in the sport, as well as additional resources and an interactive Therapeutic Use Exemption section which allows users to request exemption.
The app was built in HTML then deployed as native APK and IPA files via Phonegap allowing changes to be made once for both Android and IOS versions. The retrospective files were published directly to Google Play and iTunes Connect.
